Screamers - "Live 1978 in San Francisco" DVD Previously only seen on long-out-of-print original Target Video release and (probably better-circulated) boots, this performance finally sees the light of day once again. The late great Tomata provides to have been an electrifying performer, able to scorch retinas by simply raising a single eyebrow, while the musos behind him spit out shreds of searing synth-punk. Also comes with five "studio" videos (from two separate sessions; with "arty" effects utilized in one of the vids) and a "Target Video Reel" including quite a few all-too-brief samples of what Target Video had to offer; considering what's on display here (X, Lewd, Crucifix, Bauhaus, Devo, etc.) one can only hope that the rest of the Target Video catalogue will follow this tape back into the daylight.
