Meat Puppets – “Alive in the Nineties” DVD Collection of fan-shot and European-television material, capturing the Puppets during their major-label tenure. The quality occasionally suffers from some of the hazards of fan-shot material (single-camera angles, not-always-stellar pic/sound quality, not knowing to aim the camera right in the fucking light) and not all the material is at among their prime works, but some of this is pretty good (surprisingly enough the acoustic numbers come off the best), and their (unlisted on the outside track listing) Feederz cover show that their more warped tendencies haven’t totally escaped them.
