V/A Graffiti Rock DVD DVD issue of an episode of the titular early 80s (public access?) television show, with period pieces on breaking-n-scratching thrown in as bonuses. Watching this the first thing that came to mind is how much of an influence American Bandstand must have been, because this program follows said format to a T, from the shots of teens dancing to the music down to the host interviewing some of the folks from down on the floor. Of course Dick Clark never had a cutting contest with Frankie Avalon (or John Lydon for that matter) the way the hosts here have one with Run DMC (I dare say the latter took that one).Could have used more than one episode per DVD (assuming of course they made more than one episode of this series) but Old School buffs should enjoy.
