Foo Fighters - "Everywhere But Home" DVD A bunch of live songs from shows in Toronto, Washington D.C, and an audio only section featuring their first ever Iceland show Reykjavik. Audio only on a DVD? Whatever...as one would expect from a DVD release of live material, there aren't any flubs or missteps; after all, you want to show yourself in the best light, right? They perform a mix of material from all three of their full length releases, the crowd is very engaged in what the Foo Fighters do on stage, and they put on a good energetic show. But I would expect a little more from a DVD than just live performances, like more backstage stuff. Or how about some of their videos, which are pretty funny. Just seems like a bit of a waste to do the audio only tracks when the space could have been used more effectively. I'm betting their fans will have the same thoughts too, but for those craving the live experience in their living room, this will do. Steve @ www.rcarecords.com |
