Extreme Noise Terror From One Extreme to Another DVD Cherry Reds laudable looting of the Jettisoundz archives continues with this live offering from one of the godfathers of grindcore, Extreme Noise Terror, caught on a good evening before an appreciative audience at the Fulham Greyhound in 1989. Technically this is pretty good, with good visual quality, use of multiple cameras (instead of the one-camera-at-the-back-of-the-club approach), and sound that wont be mistaken for digital but not too shabby. Theres a tad of tape wear and pixilation, but not as bad as Ive seen it on some other Cherry Red releases. At less than 23 minutes (for the live portion) its short but definitely sweet. The bonus is a humorous (and only partially successful) interview attempt by some fresh-faced MTV Europe talking head. David @ www.cherryred.co.uk |
