Belle & Sebastian - "Fans Only" DVD I guess the title here is intended as a warning. Fair enough, so I won't call it a rip-off, but I'm a fan and I found this hodge podge of home video footage uninteresting. Although there were snippets of interviews, there was too much montage, filler footage of various bits and pieces backed with B&S music. 51 minutes into this there is a complete concert performance of "The Boy With the Arab Strap" that left me wondering what happened to the rest of the show. Mostly though, it's just fragments of performances and videoclips and TV appearances. I hope someday B&S will issue a legitimate concert DVD. Mel @ Matador Records |
