Adicts – “Joker in the Pack” DVD The Manhattan Club gig (1983) and “Up Yer Tower (from the 1982 Blackpool all-dayer) on silver disc for your viewing pleasure, with two promos taken from the “UK/DK” flick (which merits its own re-release) thrown in as well. The “Manhattan Club” segment features single-camera footage on the rough and grainy side, but it still succeeds in bringing across the ambience and raucous fun of a vintage Adicts show (or any superior punk/hardcore show circa early 80s). The second show was originally a “limited-edition” release and considering how dark the footage is I wouldn’t stress if you missed it the first time around. Still, I’d definitely recommend this based on the promos and the first show on the menu.
